How Does Valkyrie Quest work?

Valkyries (see below) wishing to participate will come up with 1-2 new DDR goals they want to achieve in a 3 week period.
Supporters (that’s you!) will pledge any amount they’d like. If the Valkyrie achieves the goal, the supporters donate the promised amount!

– Take a look at the participating Valkyries on this page. When you’ve decided who you’d like to support, you can pledge through a form (will be posted soon!)
– The Valkyries you support will play towards their goals over a 3 week period.
– At the conclusion, you will donate the promised amount!

What are Quests?

Each Valkyrie has 2 quests (goals) that you can pledge for! Quests are either One-time goals, or quantitative.

Repeatable Goals
These are goals that can be hit multiple times. A pledge amount will generally be lower, because a supporter might pay their pledge amount several times.

For Example: Nina’s goal is to pass as many 13’s as they can.
If you pledged $5 for Nina’s goal, and they pass 4 new 13’s, you’d donate $20

]One-Time Goals
These are goals that can only be achieved once. Therefore, they might generally have a higher pledge amount.

For Example: Brittney’s goal is to PFC the Extreme folder
If you pledged $50 for this goal, you’d donate $50 if this goal is completed.

Where does my donation go?

We are benefitting the Cohen Children’s Medical Center in Hyde Park NY.

“Donations given stay local and go to support the needs of our 170 member children’s hospitals where they are needed most. These unrestricted donations are often used to fund critical treatments and healthcare services, pediatric medical equipment and charitable care. Donations help support our mission to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.”

How much should I pledge?

You can pledge any amount you’d like. Some Valkyries provided a suggested amount, you may pledge more or less than the suggestion. Please note that some goals can be hit multiple times, such as passing new songs or PFCing as many songs as possible. You can pledge as little as $1!

Can I support more than 1 Valkyrie?

Absolutely! The Google form will let you pledge for up to 3 Valkyries. If you’d like to support more, simply fill out the form as many times as you need.

Do I need to support both of a Valkyrie’s goals?

Nope! You can pick one goal, or do both if you’d like to.

How will I know my total to donate?

When you fill out the form, please provide a valid email address, and we will contact you with your total and donation instructions. We will be using Extra Life to collect donations, so no one on the Valkyrie Dimension team will be handling donations directly. Your donation will go right to the charity.
